Wow! That is all I have to say about Dubai. Hanks so much to everyone who made both myself and my fellow speakers feel so welcome. Thanks to Amory and all the team at Microsoft Gulf for unbelievable hospitality. Thanks also to you the delegates, without you we would have no event. The feedback has been amazing and for that you have my thanks. TechEd is a unique worldwide event, now running in ten locations worldwide. One thing that really stands out is its ability to bring people from different countries, backgrounds, religions together. The relationships formed both personal and business can last a lifetime.
Now as promised many delegates who attended my sessions were asking where they can obtain the tools I demonstrated. Now to be fair some I can provide and for obvious reasons some I cannot, so here goes.
From the Defence Against the Dark Arts sessions here are a few you can try out:

Forensics -

System Information for Windows (SIW) By Gabriel Topala http://www.gtopala.com/siw-download.html
Network Miner: http://networkminer.sourceforge.net/
Honeynet Project: http://honeynet.org
The Internet Archive: http://www.archive.org/index.php

For more information on the tools demoed in The Windows 7 Power Management workout session, take a look here.
Process Hacker: http://processhacker.sourceforge.net/
WMI Testing: http://blogs.technet.com/askperf/archive/2007/06/22/basic-wmi-testing.aspx

So there you have it. I will be posting more over the next few days along with some photos I took. Right now I am about to head for the airport for a long journey home. Now as fate has it I will be back in the Middle East in 2 weeks time to deliver some security training in Kuwait City. So all the best and thanks again for attending TechEd Middle east 2010.
